In the center of the climate issue stands the central organization of globalists, the UN. Already in the early 1970s, the UN bureaucracy identified global environmental issues and anthropogenic environmental impacts as instruments to elevate the UN’s role from being a purely peacekeeping organization to gaining a more executive global power position. Behind this effort are very powerful global economic interests driven by the richest of the rich in the Western world. For this purpose, UNEP was established at the UN’s first global environmental conference in Stockholm in 1972. It was led by a close associate of the Rockefeller family, Maurice Strong. It’s essential to remember that the UN was initially created with strong commitment from the Western elite, in which the Rockefeller family played a leading role. This organization is seen as the perfect instrument to realize the globalist world order that has been pursued for approximately 100 years. The UN’s power is primarily built around a dozen sub-agencies dominated by a few Western countries and their financial elite. Most notable are the World Bank and the IMF, with no democratic influence.
At the UN’s first major environmental conference in 1972 in Stockholm, the strategy was launched to attempt to scare the world community into a supranational global power order. Back then, the urgency to save the world was emphasized, claiming that we had only ten years before a global environmental catastrophe. The globalists’ lobby group, the Club of Rome, had conveniently presented its work, ”Limits to Growth,” ahead of the conference, which presented model studies on how there would be a shortage of several critical resources within just a few years. Like all similar model studies, they were entirely wrong on almost all counts.
As the urgency of environmental issues went largely unheeded, the UN/UNEP searched for better arguments. After the success of the Montreal Protocol in 1987, which regulated the global use of ozone-depleting chemicals, the UN was emboldened. During a research conference on climate issues in Villach in 1988, the then UNEP chief, Tolba, presented all the uncertainty regarding carbon dioxide/greenhouse gas questions. He realized that climate change could be the issue that would propel the UN’s global power position a big step forward. Because the uncertainty was so great, it was important to ”act just in case.” He introduced the Precautionary Principle to justify actions first and scientific confirmation afterward. To create the basis for the UN’s actions and climate control, an international panel of climate scientists was established called the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change (IPCC). The first chairman of the IPCC was Bert Bolin, who had been Olof Palme’s scientific advisor.
The UN’s goal was to launch a global power order – Agenda 21 – during the next major environmental conference, held in Rio in 1992. Before the conference, the globalist lobbyists at the Club of Rome had launched the climate issue as a motive for its introduction, in a document titled ”The First Global Revolution.” This conference was also led by Rockefeller man Maurice Strong, and global financial interests exerted a crucial influence through the World Business Council for Sustainable Development, led by Swiss billionaire Stephan Schmidheiny. I was part of this organization myself in 1992 as an expert at ABB.
The IPCC prioritized making future predictions and mainly considered anthropogenic climate impacts. The panel began creating scientific bases for political climate reports – ”Summaries for Policymakers.” The scientists did not hide the fact that the science in the climate field lacked critical explanations regarding cloud formation and the climate impact of clouds. Despite this, the IPCC, in its summaries for policymakers, mostly presented the most pessimistic calculations. It was clear that the UN was eager to depict the maximum alarming vision of the future, requiring immediate supranational regulations under UN supervision. This laid the foundation for the climate alarmism that now permeates the entire Western world.
There is no doubt that there is no consensus in the scientific community on the alarmists’ visions of the future, as politicians and opinion leaders often claim. If you read what the IPCC, the Royal Swedish Academy of Sciences, and Sweden’s foremost climate scientist, Lennart Bengtsson, write, the uncertainty about how the climate will develop in this century is enormous. The consensus that alarmists rely on pertains only to the extent of human influence on the climate. It says very little about how alarming this influence is.
After the 1992 UN conference, the UN has been calling huge global climate conferences once a year, to which approximately 50,000 delegates, activists, and journalists from all over the world fly in for a little over a week. These conferences have an enormous environmental impact. However, the UN has done nothing to make the conferences environmentally friendly by utilizing modern communication technology. As observed climate developments increasingly differed from the alarming forecast models, the UN and its allies have resorted to more desperate methods to keep the issue on the boil. At each conference, we hear that we only have 5-10 years before everything goes awry. To be on the safe side, they have stopped talking about global warming and instead use climate change. In this way, every natural weather event can be blamed on human emissions. Most recently, at the climate conference in Madrid, COP25, these strategies became apparent. The developments have led to the climate issue looking increasingly like a massive deception, primarily intended to increase the UN’s global power at the expense of national democracies.
Throughout the journey, a whistleblower has revealed extensive data manipulation by the scientists, undermining the credibility of the process. No comprehensive binding regulations have been launched. Emissions of greenhouse gases are still on an upward trajectory after 27 years. There are no signs that these emissions have been affected by the repeated climate alarms. IEA’s forecast is that the increase will continue until at least 2050. Developing countries participate in this process by exploiting the Western world’s climate hysteria to demand vast amounts of aid for the transformation that the alarmists deem necessary.
The deception is evident. The image of the UN’s climate work as an enormous deception is strongly reinforced when listening to the UN Secretary-General António Guterres address the press at the Madrid conference.
He said:
Climate-related disasters are becoming increasingly common. It’s a lie. Entirely contrary to actual observations. Climate-related disasters are becoming deadlier. It’s a lie. Weather-related deaths in 2018 were the lowest since measurement began 100 years ago. During a time when the world had a much smaller population, over half a million people died each year. Now, it’s a small fraction of that, and the trend is consistently downward. Climate-related disasters are becoming more destructive and costly. It’s a lie. In recent years, insurance costs due to weather-related damage have steadily decreased concerning the GDP. Droughts in some parts of the world are increasing at an alarming rate, destroying people’s environments and threatening food supplies. It’s a lie. Higher CO2 levels increase vegetation’s resistance to drought and enhance plant growth, breaking records almost every year for decades. A slightly warmer climate also increases overall precipitation. Every year, climate-related pollution is associated with seven million deaths. It’s a lie. While indeed, seven million people die due to air pollution, it’s because poor people cook their food and heat their homes using open fires indoors. This has nothing to do with the climate issue. It is the reason behind countries like China and India continuing to expand their coal power and significantly increase their greenhouse gas emissions to provide the poor with affordable electricity. Climate change has become a dramatic threat to people’s health and security. It’s a lie. There are no actual observations supporting this claim.
What Guterres says is roughly the same as our Swedish doomsayers Greta and Johan Rockström.
The picture one gets of Guterres is that he, the UN bureaucracy, and the interests that drive this are involved in the most significant deception in history. It has already cost people in the Western world billions of dollars. Today, Sweden alone is spending hundreds of billions of our taxpayer money on so-called climate transformation and contributions to the extravagant lifestyle of the UN bureaucracy. This, in itself, is one of the reasons for the decline of the Swedish welfare state, as the Green Party government prioritizes adhering to deceptive measures encouraged by the UN bureaucracy. This is despite the fact that Swedish actions are entirely meaningless on a global scale.
The media plays a role in the deception. Perhaps the most remarkable thing, after Guterres’ many false claims, is that not a single Swedish journalist within Public Service and mainstream media – SVT, SR, SvD, DN, DI, etc. – has bothered to fact-check this person in power. Only independent media outlets, like Swebbtv, have pointed out and emphasized that Guterres lied to the press in Madrid. (Guterres’ speech is in the video at 31:50).
As a result of the mass psychosis promoted by the establishment’s media, our democratic society is moving towards fascism, with restricted personal freedom of expression and the risk of people losing their livelihoods if they don’t fall in line. In Sweden, today, no one who has a job in the public sector or in one of the many politically correct companies dares to point out these lies without risking getting fired or facing other reprisals.
