"Inject Aerosols to Stabilize the Climate?
According to climate scientist Tom Wigley, global warming for the next 20 years can be reduced by directly
injecting sulfur dioxide aerosol into the stratosphere in concert with cuts in greenhouse gas emissions.The research
published in an October issue of Science, uses computer models to demonstrate that injecting sulfate aerosols at
intervals from one to four years would have about the same cooling effect as that of 1991 eruption on Mount
