Försökt att förstå mer om Common Purpose men inte hittat så många källor. Skickade en del mail till medlemmar av UKIP för att se vad de hade att säga, fick blandat respons. Nämnde även att folk nämnt att medlemmar av UKIP är med i Common Purpose.

We are well aware of Common Purpose and their PC agenda. We have used the Freedom of Information Act to find out how many of our local Police and Council Officials are members and how much the tax payer is forking out for their training courses. They are a dangerous organisation and should not be hiding under the cloak of a charity.

Though UKIP does not focus on Common Purpose many of us are well aware of the organisation and the possible threat that it poses. The suggestions that the Party is infilrated by the organisation however is pure hokum. It suits some people's conspiracy theories about both UKIp and Common Purpose. I have myself spoken to Mr Gerrish about the issue recently and I think even he these days accepts that no such infiltration exists. Of course it is hard to prove a negative, but to my best knowledge that is the state of play at present.

political parties have to be careful about.

I'm interested as to how you obtained my e-mail address?

I have met Brian Gerrish and David Noakes, and neither of them has offered a
single shred of evidence as to the harm (other than EU propagandising - bad
enough in itself!) that this organisation has done.

David Noakes is one of the most unpleasant people I have met in my life, but
I was unimpressed by both of them. At a conference in January, I was told
that most Midlands branches including my own, had Common Purpose people in
it. No evidence has been delivered (despite requests) to date.

Long on conspiracy theory, short on facts and evidence.
