Jo visst leker dom, dåliga lekar dock. I stort sett alla konstiga sjukdomar uppstår på grund av att vi är attackerade med skräp hela dagarna, både invertes och utvertes. Större delen av alla visrus startar i lab, så är det och det måste vi acceptera, annars kan vi inte bearbeta bort det. AIDS t.ex., det stod till och med i Aftonbladet för en tid sedan, att det kom ifrån ett lab i US, vad händer?, inget! Det är lätt att vara efterklok...

Många gånger så låter jag så negativ, men med tanke på vad som egentligen pågår så funderar jag. JA, USGov sprider sjukdomar över hela världen, även här. Vill vi ha det så? Nej, vad kan vi göra åt det? Maila FBI, CIA, Aftonbladet, Expressen med flera samtidigt och säg ifrån, nu får det vara nog, vi vet vad ni pysslar med, det brukar jag göra :). Då får dom alla reda på att jag tagit kontakten och på så vis känns det lite mer tryggt, med tanke på att den man leker med har en anings mer pengar & power än en annan :) Men det har också vi om vi arbetar tillsammans 100%...

Three Senate Hearings have been conducted on the safety of aspartame - yet no official action has been taken by our government. James Bowen, M.D., outspoken anti-aspartame advocate had his license to practice medicine revoked in eight states because medical boards found not that he had "harmed" a patient, but that he was "delusional" about aspartame's adverse effects. Dr. Bowen [appeared on CBS Evening News with Dan Rather in 1984 talking about his case of Lou Gehrig's Disease which he reversed by getting off aspartame]. Dr. Bowen states, "Aspartame's adverse effects have to be non-specific, affecting virtually every organ of the body. Otherwise, it [aspartame] would have been off the market within the first two years!"

When ACSN's founder, Food Safety Expert, Mary Nash Stoddard met with FDA and FAA officials in Washington [87-88] they claimed their hands were tied. They were unwilling to undo the wrongs [including criminal actions taken on the part of those submitting aspartame for approval] that had been committed in allowing aspartame to remain illegally on the market. In 1992, G.D. Searle [wholly-owned subsidiary of Monsanto Chemical, St. Louis MO since 1985] lost their exclusive patent on the pharmaceutical sweetener and now [1999] there are over 5,000 products containing aspartame as both active and inactive ingredient. [It is not always listed clearly on the ingredient label.]

Diketopiperazine [DKP], a known brain tumor agent, is a breakdown product of aspartame. Dr. John Olney of Washington University Medical School in St. Louis, shows a 10% rise in the two specific forms of brain tumors that showed up in lab tests: Astrocytomas and Glioblastomas [glio cell tumors], since aspartame came onto the market in the early eightys.

Formaldehyde [embalming fluid], a breakdown product of methanol [wood alcohol] in aspartame is found on the EPA's list of hazardous chemicals.

Phenylalanine [50% of molecule] in aspartame can change the chemistry of the brain and lower the seizure threshold, according to studies done by Dr. Richard Wurtman, head of brain science at MIT. Phenylalanine also blocks production of a neurotransmitter - serotonin, which may result in mood swings; sleep disorders; mild to suicidal depressions and aberrant behaviors in some. Prozac and L-Tryptophan both increase serotonin levels. A newsletter publishedby the Association of Birth Defect Children, shows Phenylalanine in aspartame can be responsible for both mild and severe birth defects - including permanent neurological damage.

Aspartic Acid [40% of the molecule] in aspartame can change DNA, caused holes in the brains of lab animals and is classified as a neuroexcitatory amino acid. Aspartame can sabotage weight loss attempts. Many report a paradoxical weight gain while using the products sweetened by aspartame. A study done at Leeds University in the U.K. showed weight gains by the men in the study on aspartame.

Physicians and researchers know what damage may be caused by ingesting wood alcohol. Two teaspoons have been know to cause death. [Every 12-oz can of diet soda which contains 200 mg. of aspartame may contain as much as 20 mg. of methanol.] The effect of methanol on the eye, liver, pancreas and other organs of the body are well documented in the scientific literature. In nature, ethanol, methanol's antidote is always present to neutralize the toxin. There is no ethanol in aspartame for protection.

Aspartame can be especially hazardous to anyone with a preexisting medical condition such as diabetes. Manufacturers of aspartame and makers of the thousands of products which contain the fake sweetener, generously fund, in various ways, the following so-called independent organizations: American Diabetes Association, American Dietetic Association, members of Congress, prestigious medical schools and others. Dallas - Feb. 2, 1999 - [ACSN] -- An obvious attempt has been made via a recently inflammatory, and outrageously erroneous, internet email to erode the credibility of our Aspartame Consumer Safety Network. Although a fictitious name is on it - we do not know who the original "sender" was. In it, the producer of this document has cited thinly-veiled references to us and our work in the most outrageous manner. One has only to visit our website to understand that we have worked hard since 1987 to attain the high level of credibility we now enjoy. At the same time, our success has served to make us a more inviting target to our enemies. To have our efforts trivialized and undermined in such a bizarre way is deeply troubling.

On the other hand, ACSN has been studying the epidemiology of this phenomenon for over a decade and collecting the adverse reaction reports of thousands of individuals [heavy users of the artificial sweetener, aspartame] who have reported being diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis and other serious illnesses. Many of these patients have voluntarily taken the sweetener out of their diets and experienced an almost miraculous disappearance of the original severe symptoms.

For the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation, FDA or anyone else to be "outraged" over our warnings that aspartame use may trigger new cases or exacerbate preexisting ones of Multiple Sclerosis is in itself an outrage. Why do they not listen to patients [as we do] with compelling case histories? What harm would come from advising M.S. patients to stay away from use of all artificial sweeteners for a period of four to six weeks? Nor do we tell them not to continue with their prescribed medical treatments or not to seek medical help from a competent doctor. These would be irresponsible actions. That is why we do not employ those tactics.

Perhaps the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation protests a little too much because some of their funding comes from ties to the giant, billion dollar sweetener industry or manufacturers who use it in their products - as does the American Dietetic Association which oversees all the Registered Dietitians in the U.S.?
