istället för att göra något åt alla förvarningar så blev FBI agenter tillsägda att dom skulle lägga ner sina utredningar av al-qaida.

sedan NSA rapoterar direkt till vita huset, så håller inte beskyllningen på att mark krigen mellan dom olika underrättelsetjänsterna skulle ha orskat 911. Verkligheten är att NSA och andra underrättelsetjänster överbringade tillräckligt med information till vita huset för att stoppa 911, men vita huset ignorerade det och stängde ner vidare utredningar.
