En god vän till mig berättade historier kring en av Guds s k ärkeänglar kallad Satanael. Har letat litet på nätet men hittar just ingen info om denna. Har någon av Er här på Vaken någon kännedom om denna och kan skriva några rader eller skicka länkar?

Satanael är ett annat namn för satan. Här är ett utdrag ur en del sidor med lite info:

"The Bogomils. Balkan sect c. 1000-1400 denied that Christ had founded an organized church, and rejected Church doctrine on clergy, saints, the Virgin Birth, images, and infant baptism. They believed that God the Father had two Sons: Satanael (Satan), who was thrown out of heaven for his sin of pride; and Jesus Christ (the Logos). Satanael created humanity, but God gave them their souls; He then created Jesus who overcame Satanael."

"THE BOGOMILS
The Bogomil heresy was the first large, Mediaeval, dualist sect. It began in the Balkans around 930 CE. Their missionaries travelled to Italy and the South of France, planting the seeds for what was to be the future rise of the Albigensian heresy.

Possibly influenced by the Paulicians, the Bogomils believed that God had two sons, Christ and Satanael. Satanael had created the material world and was identified with the God of the Old Testament. Marriage and procreation was to be avoided and fellow members gave confession and absolution.

Eventually the Bogomils divided into two groups. The first was the Church of Dragovitsa which held that Satan was a cosmic power of equal status to God. The other was the sect of the Bulgars who considered that Satan was the fallen brother of God. The Bulgars preached that procreation was sinful. Extreme branches of the sect encouraged homosexuality as an alternative to marriage. Consequently, their name became a slang term for sodomy as ‘bogar’, ‘bougre’, ‘bugar’, and ‘bugger’.These Cathar and quasi-Cathar sects spread via Bulgeria and the Balkans to Russia. They also spread west to France and Italy to influence the Albigensians (Walker, 1985).
