About Edge

Edge Media Television is an alternative broadcaster based in the UK. Situated on Sky Channel 200 for UK audiences, we also broadcast around the globe via this online website.

Increasing numbers of people throughout the world are experiencing a new awareness, reaching beyond scientific, religious and historical doctrines; rejecting dogma and people through hearts and higher purpose. The world greatly needs individuals and organizations devoted to expressing and supporting the many facets of this new awareness.

The experience of living in the physical realm presents us with the opportunity, and necessity, to appreciate and accept the diversity and uniqueness that each of us contributes. It is the larger context of environmental, social, and spiritual awakening that makes this possible in ways that embrace everyone. This is taking place now, as the effects of the actions and interactions of individuals and communities are becoming increasingly visible and global in impact.

Global awakening means individuals becoming aware of and embracing their true nature and destiny as embodied spiritual beings. This truth goes beyond the limitations of historical beliefs concerning self, time, space, and matter. Awakening requires remembering who and what we truly are, beyond the ordinary considerations of our human self, as well as experiencing extraordinary dimensions of our larger being never before realised. The vastness of this destiny is such that it can only be known as it creates itself.

Edge Media TV is our contribution to this and has been formed by the coming together of individuals who are conscious and appreciative of the enormity of global awakening; working together in a practical, operational and sustainable way, which will bring the work of many researchers, scientists, authors and film makers to the people of the world.

The future is about to go beyond the edge! Edge Media TV, a pioneering channel broadcasting on Sky Channel 200, now opens the experience of online viewing. Ultimately, we intend to add new content on a daily basis, which be available with 'Watch On Demand'. Our goal is to provide flexible viewing, a Viewers Forum to share news, views and ideas,along with the Edge Media Online Store.

EMTV Online has been developed as a support platform for the Satellite Channel. Consequently, any financial surplus beyond EMTV Online running expenses will be utilised to facilitate the return of Edge Media to the Satellite Channels. Without your help and support, none of this would have been possible. THANK YOU

Please note that the Forum will shortly incorporate a 'Critics Corner', where all those who wish to whinge, moan, complain, bully and generally waste everyone else's time will be free to post at their leisure. Anyone posting such material on the main Forum will be restricted to posting in 'Critics Corner'.
