the international part of the forum is in dire need of a re-vamp and more content.

My english skills are excellent, and my Swedish DÄREMOT as many have seen is anything but professional and even I laugh at it sometimes.

Now, the idea is to create a subforum here that I can admin over.

In my calls and correspondence so far with truth groups in America, I am getting a clear picture that vaken is heard of.

I am getting hits on google with searches for english posts or cut n pastes. We need to ride on this wave of interest as well.

Considering that many people living in sweden have good english skills (from the middle east, europe and america) and a possibility to be a part of spreading the truth about key issues, we can then provide them a voice in sweden as well, to eventually lead to participating in actions etc.

Forums like davidIcke.com and Prisonplanet serve as easy frameworks for relevant issues, as so does the Vaken forum at present.

This can help make the site even more popular, and more open to whats happening in Scandanavia / sweden in this post Lisabon EU mess.

Once the basic framework is developed, people from other forums globally can be invited to check it out.

I have limited time resources, and trying to write in Swedish doesnt really cut it for me.

It sometimes feels like I have a head of knowledge being forced through a pin hole into swedish, I am sure most of you can imagine how hard it is to read, much less WRITE in english, even IF you have heard that horrible noise all you lives.

So...

Anyone wanting to help is welcome along, though you must have an understanding of xoops and how to create php forum structures. Otherwise I do it at my own pace.

There are plenty of english "truth forums", but as far as I am concerned this is the only "big" swedish one, so I don't see any reason to put out any new stuff in english. i am afraid that would backfire and would scare away those who do not speak english very well. However, I don't mind there beeing a subsection called "Discussion in English" in the forum. The frontpage could have a link called "Briefly in english" where it introduces this site and perhaps a link to Google Translate that automatically translate all content into english for those who view vaken.se through it.

I think its a good idea. Sometimes I prefer to read/write/talk in english, rather then swedish and im sure im not the only one.

Its on its way, been a bit busy lately with fundamental aspects of life ; )

But the framework is there.

The idea is probably a link from the front page, perhaps in the Swedish forum as well, would be best with some sort of auto updater there as well showing people latest "inlägg" in swedish forum too.

Most information posts here are in English, my idea is that people that are either living outside Sweden can get an idea of things, and that foreigners can come with their ideas as well.

Thus creating more interaction abroad as well ; )
