I think Wayne Madsen is a very nice man who is a very intriguing writer never afraid to go out on a limb — but I don’t think anyone can legally maneuver Article 4 of the 25th Amendment against Obama, as he claims Democrats are actually planning sometime after November’s disastrous election.

You can read Madsen’s piece for yourself, but the gist is this:

* Madsen argues Article 4 of the 25th Amendment was almost used against Ronald Reagan after his assassination attempt, because while recovering from that horrific attack his body was weak and the pain medications and whatnot he was on, compounded with the stress of being shot (which is devastating to even a 20 year old) made Reagan lethargic, slow on his feet, and very sleepy for a while after the incident. Madsen says the Cabinet started preparatory work on invoking the 25th Amendment that would have made George H.W. President in 1981…but that it was decided Reagan would recover and there was no danger to the presidency.

* Madsen further states that Obama’s detachment, his inability to focus, his preoccupation with having fun, playing golf, throwing parties, etc. qualify as an argument form of “incapacity”, as his behavior and disregard for duties is on par with an invalid president incapacitated by some illness or accident that renders this person more or less Obama-esque in all intents and purposes.

* If Article 4 of the 25th Amendment is invoked, the Cabinet would have to vote to oust the president and the Vice President would then be the final signature on the document removing him from office. At that time, Joe Biden would become the 45th president…and he would need to select a Vice President the Senate would confirm. That person would, according to Madsen, be Hillary Clinton, who would become our first female Vice President and would more likely than not run for president herself in 2012.

Like I said, Madsen is an interesting and colorful writer. You have to give him that.

But, he overlooks the giant elephant in the room: black voters. Even if Obama suffered a massive seisure and was comatose, like in the movie Dave, unless Will Smith was brought in to play Obama for the last two years of his term (also like in the movie Dave, subsituting Kevin Klein for Smith in the scenario), blacks in Chicago, New York, DC, LA, etc. would riot. I think the usual suspects of Spike Lee, Jesse Jackson, Henry Gates, Al Sharpton, et al would stoke this — and there would be absolute bedlam with large parts of urban centers set afire. If anything should happen to Obama, this is what will happen. It might even happen in 2012 when he loses his re-election. It’s why I believe John McCain just sort of gave up his presidential campaign in October of 2008…he didn’t really want to win, because winning would be accepting the presidency while fire trucks, SWAT teams, and the National Guard all raced to places like a set-ablaze city of Chicago.

I do remember that scene in Air Force One where Glenn Close had to decide whether or not she was going to declare Harrison Ford incapacitated while his plane was hijacked and he was running around on board doing his yippe-kae-yay John McClain impersonation. She stupidly didn’t sign the form, when she should have, because THE PRESIDENT WAS TAKEN HOSTAGE ON AN AIRPLANE. That pretty much qualifies as incapacitation in my book. It’s also pretty much what that 25th Amendment article is for, whether when written “airplane hijacking” was considered a possibility or not.

There’s an interesting big in Madsen’s piece about large Democrat donors telling Obama he needs to move to the center or they’re not going to open their checkbooks to him for 2012.

That’s actually something I want to help facilitate starting November 3rd — putting pressure on the wealthy Democrat donors to put the brakes on their support of the Left. It’s an avenue we can work to great effect for the next two years…where we can simultaneously take down the fundraising operations of people like Claire McCaskill as well, so we can not only cut off the big money going to the DC but we can target Democrats like McCaskill and dry up her donor pool so this fool can be removed from office in 2012 along with Obama.

Donors are notoriously skittish when the public casts a bright light on them…but rooting these people out is a boring and time-consuming endeavor that people don’t especially want to invest much effort in. It works though, and Democrats’ anemic fundraising for the 2010 midterms is proof their donors don’t just write checks for their own personal amusement.

Read Madsen’s piece and offer your two or three cents below. It IS interesting stuff, and if nothing else it reminded me of the need to target those Democrat donors in a coordinated and sustained way for the next two years.

Jag förstår ärligt sagt inte varför Obama kritiseras som han gör. Jag tycker George W. Bush var mycket värre och det mesta om Obama är ju bara spekulationer som aldrig händer.
Jag har läst och hört MASSOR av spekulationer om vad Obama kommer att göra, men det har inte blivit så, så jag börjar tycka allt bättre om honom.
Jag tycker USA har en mycket humanare politik när demokraterna är vid makten än republikanerna, även om skillnaden minskar allt mer.

Kan någon förklara? Varför denna hetsjakt på Obama?

Frågan vart man skall börja... Nämn två saker han gjort, vilket han verkligen lovat. Vad den mannen säger och sedan gör, verkar inte ha något samband med varandra... En puppet, som så många andra... Som er stadsminister tex...

The phenomenon of child soldiers, like genocide, slavery and torture, seems like one of those crimes that no nation could legitimately defend. Yet the Obama administration just decided to leave countless kids stranded on some of the world’s bloodiest battlegrounds.

The administration stunned human rights groups last month by sidestepping a commitment to help countries curb the military exploitation of children. Josh Rogin at Foreign Policy reported that President Obama issued a presidential memorandum granting waivers from the Child Soldiers Prevention Act to four countries: Chad, the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Sudan and Yemen. The memo instructed Secretary of State Hilary Clinton that it is in our “national interest” to continue extending military aid to those countries, despite their failure to comply with the rules Congress passed and George W. Bush signed in 2008.

A thumbs-up for child soldiers from the pen of President Obama? Whitehouse spokesperson P.J. Crowley explained it was a strategic decision to ease the 2008 law. The rationale is that on balance, it’s more effective for the U.S. to keep providing military assistance that will help countries gradually evolve out of the practice of marshaling kids to the battlefield, rather than isolating them.

According to the Christian Science Monitor, Crowley argued, “These countries have put the right policies in place… but are struggling to correctly implement them.” The New York Times reported that administration spokespeople also cited the countries’ crucial role in global counter-terrorism efforts.

Strategically granting certain countries a pass on child rights reflects Washington’s warped attitude toward the global human rights regime. The U.S. has failed to ratify, or simply ignored, numerous human rights protocols, and our ratification of the Convention on the Rights of the Child has languished. Human Rights Watch points out, “Only the United States and Somalia, which has no functioning national government, have failed to ratify the treaty.” (Although we did ratify two optional protocols in 2002, relating to child soldiers and other forms of exploitation.)

Somalia, by the way, is one of just two countries that the White House allowed to be sanctioned under the 2008 law; the second was Burma. Presumably this is because Somalia is not receiving direct military funding, reports the Monitor. Yet the U.S. continues to support Somali government forces as they fight Islamic insurgents—with the help of a large force of child soldiers. (To their credit, Somalia has at least promised the U.N. they”ll stop arming kids eventually, according to the Washington Post).

Maybe you could argue that the U.S. is so “advanced” it needn’t bother with rules about children’s rights to education and whatnot. Obama’s waivers might be seen as realpolitik in areas like Yemen, whose military we support as part of our sprawling counter-terrorism operations. But the bottom line is that the administration has carved out an exception to a law intended to ethically guide the flow of U.S. aid money around the world.

According to the Coalition to Stop the Use of Child Soldiers, which holds America to the same scrutiny that countries like Uganda and DRC routinely face in the media, we benefit indirectly and directly from the exploitation of child fighters:

In 2006 the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) registered 59 children in detention during 16 visits to five places of detention or internment controlled by the USA or the UK in Iraq. US soldiers stationed at the detention centres and former detainees described abuses against child detainees, including the rape of a 15-year-old boy at Abu Ghraib, Iraq, forced nudity, stress positions, beating and the use of dogs. Following US troop increases in Iraq in early 2007, US military arrests of children there rose from an average of 25 per month in 2006 to an average of 100 per month. Military officials reported that 828 were children held at Camp Cropper by mid-September, including children as young as 11. A 17-year-old was reportedly strangled by a fellow detainee in early 2007.

In August 2007 the USA opened Dar al-Hikmah, a non-residential facility intended to provide education services to 600 detainees aged 11-17 pending release or transfer to Iraqi custody. US military officials excluded an estimated 100 children from participation in the program, apparently on the grounds that they were “extremists” and “beyond redemption”.
Omar Khadr, the young Canadian detainee at Guantanamo Bay, remains trapped in a Kafkaesque quasi-judicial system without regard to the fact that he was a child when captured. Rights advocates like Monia Mazigh in Ottowa have called for Khadr to be recognized as a child soldier, but the administration seems to think securing a conviction in Kangaroo Court takes precedence over international law. And because Khadr, like the other Gitmo prisoners, is identified with that faceless dark horde the U.S. has branded “terrorists,” Americans aren’t even inclined to see him as a human being, let alone as a juvenile soldier deserving of sympathy.

So America’s hypocrisy on children in war has many layers. Obama condemns the practice in theory, then undermines federal law by issuing waivers for our partners in Africa and the Middle East. And of course, Washington sees no problem with punishing child soldiers as adults when they’re aligned with the terrorists who are bent on destroying America.

UN Treaties alone obviously won’t demobilize all the world’s child soldiers, but their main role is to put down a legal placeholder. And it’s that moral guidepost that the U.S. undermines every time it waives parallel U.S. laws based on the “national interest.”


Obama’s memorandum may look jarring on paper, but it’s grimly consistent with Washington’s agenda of waging war indefinitely, without boundaries, against an enemy we can no longer really define. The U.S. supports warfare that uses children as weapons, warfare that kills civilian children indiscriminately, warfare that ultimately sends our own children to perish on foreign soil. And so America marches on in a world of conflict where the first casualty is innocence itself.

Men härnere tar man det inte på så stort allvar. Det anses inte riktigt fint att uppträda under sitt "vanliga" namn, alla försöker verka kaxiga genom att lägga till och ändra. Det finns färdiga födelseattester från Kenya att hämta hem på nätet, för övrigt, om nu nån skulle vilja vara kenyan. Man kan faktiskt ha nytta av det om man vill resa visumfritt i en massa länder i Mellanöstern där svenskar betraktas med misstänksamhet (varsågoda för tipset!).

Men min väninna, som jag träffade senast i mars, kallar sig Lady Maureen och är jättetrevlig, kolla gärna hela videon så förstår ni varför jag ideligen åker ner till "tjottaheiti". Hon har sjungit för Obama två gånger redan (och snart blir det väl en tredje). I Kenya har man rätt stor förståelse för sånt här... det är väl inte konstigare att Obama kallar sig Presidenten än jag kallar mig Lady Maureen, skrattar min väninna...

Men behöver det vara så otroligt egentligen? Eller så enastående?

Flera amerikanska presidenter styrde ju faktiskt ett helnyktert USA under förbudstiden från 1917 till 1932. Flera av dem avbildade sig gärna med en sån där rund platt hatt (fez) som turkar får bära om dom varit på pilgrimsresa till Mecka. Det talas ibland om en hemlig fortsättning på frimurarna där man invigs i ett muslimskt broderskap som börjar ovanför 32 graden i de vanliga amerikanska frimurarna, Blue Lodge eller vad dom heter. Fortsättningen kan vara de s.k "Shriners", jag har inte kollat upp.

George Bush sades ju vara helnykterist under sin första presidentperiod, då han dessutom hade hela Bin Ladens familj boende hemma hos sig. Han kan omöjligen ha varit ovetande om islams läror, så texasbo han är...

I Texas finns det åtminstone en farm stor som hela Skåne plus några till varav åtminstone en är statsägd, och är man herre på en sådan farm kan man göra vafan man vill om det så vore att utropa en islamisk republik hemma hos sig själv. Jag träffade en gång en man som hade en farm som var så stor att han en gång glömde en bil som blev kvar när han pga en olycka blev hämtad med helikopter (farmen behövde två st för att sköta övervakningen) och dom hittade bilen efter tolv år...

Min fasta tro är att dom här gossarna har minst en räv bakom varje öra och att deras möjligheter överstiger våra fattningsförmågor!
