During the summer I have traveled around Sweden to meet people and visit places. What I’ve been looking for are environments where creative and philosophical people can meet and build something new together. Environments that strengthen us and create healthy networks from which we can grow. Not only did I find these people, I now understand that the international organization that I seek to create already exists and is more powerful than I could have imagined.
p Instead, the solution is a huge network of people from all different backgrounds and nationalities who come together and create the solutions. They are everywhere and create different projects seemingly unrelated to each other, but there is a connection that manifests itself through large meetings where the plan is further developed. They call themselves part of the ”family”. The family consists mostly of alternative people. People who find themselves outside the system. But politics is not the focus of the movement, but instead a philosophy of sharing and healing our nature and ourselves.
All over the world, gatherings are held that usually last for a whole month. At the time of writing, a world meeting is being held in Nepal where hundreds of thousands of people are expected to attend. The Swedish family is strongly represented this year and I myself would like to participate if I had the time and energy. I’m just now coming back from a month’s meeting in the deep Swedish forest. We were almost 150 people who participated and camped by a beautiful lake. The heart is the sacred fire that burns throughout the month, day and night, and where we gather around to share songs, food and experiences. Technology is not used and everyone lives a simple camping life. The food is cooked over an open fire and it is far from cars and the tumult of the city.
There is no official governance, no leaders, no hierarchy. Everyone is involved in co-creation. Everyone contributes what they can and want. In this chaotic organization, a magic emerges that cannot be recreated consciously. Ceremonies, workshops and conversations occur and a healing of the soul takes place everywhere at the same time. Some turn to family for support in dealing with their trauma. Others come to share their healing knowledge and powers and still others are there to uplift the family by setting up camp, felling trees, carrying water and cooking for the family. It is truly a family where we help each other because we understand everyone’s values and accept each other’s unique situations. I ran into many different people. Some with a background in the military, others with connections to the underworld and some with connections to wealthy benefactors who support the family in secret. I myself worked with ceremonial work and tried to create the conditions for deep healing for everyone I met. I also dived into strategic planing and sow seeds for how organization and structure can be developed and used to further strengthen the family.
Magic is one of the main tools that I see will make the decisive blow in our fight. Many do not really understand what magic means and how it could help. For me, it is one of the cornerstones of the laws of nature. That we humans through our longing and faith influence the course of events with the power of thought and intention. I believe our greatest role in this fight is to help people believe in themselves and understand that we all have an inexhaustible power to create a better world for ourselves and others, just by healing and holding up the belief that a better world is possible. Together, this energy becomes even stronger and we can immediately see the results.
One of the most important elements in a gathering is precisely that there is no clear structure or political ideology. Everyone meet stripped down and equal. Politics is not a topic that comes up often, but when it does, all different points of view are represented. Everyone is accepted and different worlds meet in a common longing for a beautiful future. For example, I met in depth with several people from the climate movement, who, although they did not share my point of view, through their warm hearts create positive change in all different places. They can be seen as unconscious agents spreading love and hope within all different movements. This dynamic and broad movement creates a prerequisite for the sudden and spontaneous manifestation of new projects and ideas. It cannot be controlled, infiltrated or coordinated. It is such an environment that creates the conditions for magic to occur, and the synchronicity that occurs creates opportunities that planning and organization can never achieve.
After a month of exploring this mysterious energy, I myself come out reborn. I have experienced healing that I could never have dreamed of and also helped many people on their journey through this adventure of a lifetime. Many of the stories I have to tell are so incredible that I myself begin to wonder how it is possible. More concretely, I come out with connections to people all over the world who share this longing for positive change. My dream of creating a center for awakening in Sweden and the world has already started and if I am right, we will soon have both financiers and diligent workers participating in the next chapter of this journey forward. Now I search further for farms and we look around Omberg and Ödeshög and already feel how the family lifts me forward and helps to manifest the dream that I have long seen.
