Kodama Systems is planning to cut down and bury 70 million acres of forest in California. They have received 6.6 million in funding, including from Bill Gates’ Breakthrough Energy.
The reason for cutting down and burying the forest is to prevent the release of carbon dioxide into the atmosphere.
