It is often said that ethnic Swedes possess ”white privilege” in Sweden. That may be the case.
But Sweden’s criminal networks also appear to enjoy a privilege of their own: the ability to terrorize Swedish society and its law-abiding, hardworking citizens without facing meaningful consequences, while also benefiting financially and culturally.
It is time to scrutinize this privilege and begin demanding the same level of accountability from these individuals that we expect from everyone else in society.
Being able to threaten, extort, rob, kill, and force fellow human beings into sex work, and then openly boast about it on social media, is a privilege.
Having popular culture that directly or indirectly depicts and glamorizes these acts in lyrics and videos rewarded and celebrated by mainstream media and streaming platforms is a privilege.
Having the police and the justice system respond in ways that appear to excuse their existence, making them seem ineffective in the eyes of this group, is a privilege.
Being able to openly display and boast about possessions acquired through these crimes is a privilege.
A privilege that we have collectively granted this group.
It is therefore time to examine and revoke this privilege immediately and permanently.
If this is not done, this privilege will become the norm in society.
When a society becomes corrupt at its core, all of its processes begin to operate according to the principle that “the most violent and dangerous rule.”
Sweden was built on hard work, justice, humility, and tolerance, but tolerance taken to absurd extremes may lead to a point where we no longer recognize Sweden.
If we want a country where people do not have to live in constant fear, do not have to pay bribes to obtain justice, and can trust those around them, the authorities, and the justice system, we must act now.
We must act firmly and forcefully in the best interests of society, not in the interests of those who are currently the most privileged: Sweden’s gang criminals.
Instead of openly examining and discussing the above-mentioned privilege of being a gang criminal in Sweden, we allow this privileged group to hold our society and all of us hostage.
Start over and do it right.
If we do not, there will no longer be any justice.
There will be only one privilege:
The privilege of Sweden’s gang criminals.
That privilege will then become the law, and everyone else will be forced to submit to it.
We can only hope that we have not already reached that point…
