In an interview with the BBC, billionaire Bill Gates disapproves of Elon Musk’s plan to go to Mars. According to Gates, there are more important things to do here on Earth, such as ”vaccinating” many people. Besides, traveling to Mars is extremely expensive.
”It’s actually quite expensive to go to Mars. You can buy measles vaccines and save lives for $1,000 per life saved”, Bill Gates told the BBC. ”This leads to the conclusion: don’t go to Mars.”
Bill Gates also says that he believes Musk could become a ”fantastic philanthropist”.
