Political correctness is a critical term often used to describe a deliberate introduction of new expressions aimed at changing attitudes or being as utopian as possible for a specific interest or societal group. The term is also metaphorically used for ideological trends that critics consider to claim exclusivity and acceptability. It is sometimes abbreviated as ’PC.’ The origin of political correctness can be traced back to cultural Marxism, rooted in the Frankfurt School.
