In today’s world, society is marked by power struggles and the pursuit of control. Historically, violence and physical coercion have been the most visible forms of dominance, but a more effective and subtle method involves manipulating the collective consciousness. By influencing people’s thoughts, beliefs, and behaviors, control can be maintained without those affected even realizing it. This form of power is particularly dangerous because it is rarely questioned. In our pursuit of a global society that lives in harmony with nature and with one another, we must confront and understand this hidden influence.
Manipulation through collective rituals
The power to control people often lies in creating conditions in which groups become receptive to influence. Through rituals, symbolism, and the deliberate use of colors, sounds, and other sensory stimuli, a state of collective hypnosis is created. In this state, people are more inclined to accept ideas and agendas without questioning them.
This form of manipulation can be used either to guide people toward greater understanding and spiritual development, or to keep them in a lower state of consciousness, unable to see beyond the frameworks set for them. In today’s society, these techniques are often used in political propaganda, corporate advertising, and mass media to shape opinions and keep the population passive and uncritical.
The dual nature of knowledge
There are those in society who, through education, experience, or self-reflection, have developed a deeper understanding of the world. These individuals have a responsibility to use their knowledge to guide others, but they also face a moral choice: should they use their insight to serve humanity, or to advance their own interests? Here arises the tension between using understanding to liberate or to control.
In an ideal world, these people, with their deep understanding, would function as leaders who help society as a whole reach higher levels of consciousness. But in reality, this knowledge is often used for personal gain—to manipulate and control rather than to liberate and enlighten. Those who genuinely work for the good of society often encounter resistance or a lack of support, which makes their work even more difficult.
Humanity’s collective awakening
Despite the challenges that exist, the vision of a better future carries hope. It is believed that as people’s awareness of how they are being manipulated increases, a collective awakening will take place. At that point, individuals who work for the common good will step forward and be supported, and society will shift toward a more just and harmonious way of life.
This awakening means that people begin to see through the manipulation and reclaim control over their own thoughts and actions. As more individuals become aware of the forces influencing them, societies will move toward a time in which leaders and systems that promote prosperity for all—rather than for a few—become the norm.
The way forward
To achieve such a transformation, both individuals and societies must prioritize questioning the systems and norms that govern their lives. We must learn to value those who work for the collective, rather than only rewarding those who manipulate for personal gain. Only by raising collective consciousness can we create a society characterized by truth, justice, and genuine freedom.
Ultimately, this is about reclaiming control over our minds and souls from external forces that seek to steer us. True freedom is not achieved merely by avoiding physical domination, but by freeing ourselves from mental manipulation. This journey toward enlightenment and freedom is long, but it is a path we must walk in order to build a society where people live in harmony with one another and with nature.
